Tom has scored just shy of 3500 runs in his Senior career, playing club cricket for Checkley, Moddershall, Audley and Silverdale, as well as at various levels for Staffordshire. At just 20 years old, Tom has scored eleven Senior cricket 50s and three 100s.

When we caught up with Tom, he said “I am really looking forward to returning to leek, having spent a few years at the club previously, I know it has a lot of potential for success. I am keen to be back on board & contribute where I can.”

Tom has also taken over 200 wickets in Senior cricket, including three 5 wicket hauls - 79 of those wickets have been in league games for Checkley in the last three seasons.

Head of Cricket Committee, Rob Haydon also said; “Tom is another fantastic addition for us. For someone still young he can already draw on substantial experience of opening the batting in the Premier League and minor counties representative honours for Staffordshire. We believe his record speaks for itself with bat and ball. He has scored a high volume of runs, taken lots of important wickets and is another excellent fielder. He is an excellent cricketer who we feel can continue to develop.”
