Leek 2nd XI win Division 5

After a difficult 2020 season delayed by COVID-19, it was great to be back playing a full season of cricket in 2021.

We returned under a new format, which was just Win/Loss in Division 5. Leek have thrived under the new format, by winning 17 out of the 22 games - and of which 2 games were abandoned. A fantastic record.

Leek have been promoted to Division 4 alongside Moddershall & Oulton 4th XI.

A big shoutout to Mat Nicholls & Tom Grindey, who have both stood out in their respective stats, batting & wicketkeeping.

The team will re-start winter nets in November and hope to have a successful first season in Division 4 from April 2022.
